a little more about me...
Besides being your average photographer with a passion to hold a camera, here are a few facts about me: I am a huge Taylor Swift fan and have been since her original album. I fell in love with New York City the very first time I visited as a kid, it made me eager to be in a city, and now I am proud to call Chicago my home. I love to travel and explore new places, understand cultures, and admire art and design; my travel photos are some of my most prized souvenirs. Along the lines of art and design, while growing up I attended an architecture program at UCLA and it truly shifted my perspective on how visual the world is. I also realized I no longer had a burning desire to become an architect - but I will forever appreciate architecture through photography. I love problem solving and figuring out how things are put together. I am a self proclaimed "professional organizer" an odd title, for sure and I love a good checklist or spreadsheet! Yoga has been a huge part of my life for the past 8+ years and has grounded me through the best and worst times. I am a forever Badger and while I love a hot sunny beach day, I really am a midwest girl at heart. And lastly, I find myself enamored by the world, as it's a place full of beauty and gratitude if you look for it and I love being able to capture all of life's moments through my lenses.
